Fotowall started as the photo wall for the Freedom GRC Charity Ball. We needed something that worked at scale, looked good on a ballroom screen, and gave sponsors the recognition they'd earned. The off-the-shelf tools we tried were either too consumer-grade or too brittle for a high-stakes night.
So we built it. Multi-tenant from day one, because we knew the next conversation would be from a friend at another non-profit. Moderation-first, because brand safety isn't optional when sponsors are paying for placement. Built on Firebase because real-time photo walls don't tolerate latency or flaky deploys.
We're a small team focused on the events themselves — not on scaling features no one asked for. Every release ships off the back of a real event where we noticed something we wanted to be better.
