  • Can I switch plans later?
    Yes, any time. Upgrades take effect immediately and we prorate the difference. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. If you switch from a monthly subscription to a per-event purchase, we credit the unused portion of the month against your next event.
  • What counts as one event?
    One continuous timeframe, one wall, one URL. A wedding reception is one event. A two-day conference with the same wall running across both days is one event. Two separate galas the same weekend are two events. If you are unsure, ask us before you buy — we will not pretend a multi-day festival is one event to upsell you.
  • What if I exceed the photo limit?
    We never cut you off mid-event — guests keep uploading and your wall keeps running. The cap is soft. After the event we will reach out with a one-time overage charge ($0.05 / photo on Essential, free on Signature and above) or suggest a tier change for next time.
  • Annual vs monthly — what is the actual discount?
    Annual prepay is about 17% off the monthly rate — effectively 2 months free per year. We also publish flat per-event pricing for teams that prefer not to subscribe at all.
  • Refund policy?
    Per-event: full refund if you cancel more than 14 days before your event; 50% within 14 days; no refund after the event runs — but if something went wrong on our end we will make it right. Subscriptions: cancel anytime; no prorated refund mid-period; remainder of the period stays active.
  • White-label vs branded — what is the difference?

    Branded means a small "Powered by Fotowall" tag in the corner of the wall and gallery. Default on Essential.

    Removable attribution means no Fotowall mentions on guest-facing surfaces (wall, gallery, QR landing). Available on Signature and above.

    Full white-label goes further — no Fotowall in URLs, emails, or admin invites either. Available on Premier and above.

  • Do you offer non-profit pricing?
    Yes — registered 501(c)(3) and equivalent non-profits get 20% off any plan. Mention it in your get-started form and we will apply it after we verify your status. Stacks with the annual discount.
  • Who owns the photos?
    Your guests own their photos. You own your event's gallery, the analytics, and the brand assets you upload. We are a processor, not a controller — we never repurpose photos for marketing or training. Photos hard-delete at the end of retention. Full details in our privacy policy and DPA.
  • Where are photos stored and how secure is it?
    Google Cloud Storage in us-east1 by default; EU residency available on Enterprise. All traffic over TLS 1.3. At-rest encryption (AES-256). SOC 2 Type II audit in progress with a Big-4 firm. Full security details on the trust page.
  • How does the Agency plan really work?
    Pay annually for a pool of events you spin up on demand. The default is 10 events / quarter — overage events bill at 20% off Signature. Unused events do not roll over, but seasonal pause is available if your year is lumpy. Multi-tenant: each client gets their own workspace under one bill.
